Presented by Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, this concert represents a carefully curated selection of works that transcend historical and cultural boundaries, inviting audiences to embark on an emotional and intellectual journey, from the beauty of the natural world and cultural resilience embodied in Vidal’s newly commissioned piece Thus Dreamt the Anthems, to the passion and introspection of Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A Minor performed by Cynthia Goh. End the night with us by embracing the cosmic awakening of Strauss’ monumental tone poem, Also Sprach Zarathustra, which has captured imaginations since its premiere in 1896.
Cynthia Goh is a partner in Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP and a recent winner of the “Youth-At-Heart” category in the 6th Steinway Youth Piano Competition. She is currently pursuing her piano studies under the tutelage of Prof. Boris Kraljevic. Recently, she performed a repertoire of classical pieces in the Heartstrings Charity Concert, raising funds for the Lions Community Service Foundation. She hopes to continue her passion of bringing piano performances of a high standard to the local community.
